Nifty Weekly Range Analysis Report 25-July-2022 to 29-July-2022 | Dalal Street Week Ahead | 4th Week of July 2022

Let us predict the nifty range for last week of July 2022 (25-July-2022 to 29-July-2022) based on the ATM straddle in Nifty. We sold at the money call (CE) and put (PE) options one lot for 149.75 and 133 respectively.

So the combined premium comes around 282.75. The closing price of Nifty this Thursday was 16605.25. So adding and subtracting the premium collected to 16605.25 we get the lower and upper value of the range for the last week of July 2022 which is 16322.75 to 16887.75. The pay off chart is shown below:

As you can see, the breakeven of this straddle is 16317.25(-1.73%) - 16882.75(1.67%) which is 1.73% on the downside and 1.67% on the upside of Nifty for the 4th week of July 2022.
